Roll up, roll up. No not you sir. The excellent Flash and Flex Developer magazine that I semi regularly bang on about is now releasing back issues free on line. Their content is truly great, covering less for the beginner and instead catering for the more experienced developers amongst us. Take a look at the content synopsis on the cover or any issue and you’ll definitely find something more advanced that you wanted to learn.

Now THIS is an AIR application. I think I will be using something similar on the PokerCoder site very soon , at least, as soon as I can find someone better than Dr Love to put in a Bikini. Though I guess he’d appeal to a certain kind of audience. I’m not sure when Adobe will be using it in their AIR promo stuff but it was one of the Adobe massive who pointed it out to me. I really do think that The Sun have missed a lot of their audience by making it so male-centric when a female version would be very easy to create. However, to the point. The Sun (a UK news paper for those of you who don’t know them by reputation), who are, let’s be honest, known more for their tabloid journalism and scantily clad pole dancers than for their high-brow economic and political reporting, have none the less seized on the combination of their strengths and the strength of AIR and used them very effectively together. Though I may be a little biased having sen the app. I think will will me massive in many places, if you know what I mean

Seriously though, I think we will be seeing a lot of chroma screened video AIR apps coming along soon. And probably a lot more sex. It’s tough having to review these things.
